This engages the client and myself in an exploration of both the external issues that bring someone into my office as well as the underlying family dynamics and the deeper unconscious aspects of personality that unknowingly inform every day activities. The willingness to engage with both internal and external factors allows for a deepening of personality as well as a broadening of sense of self. Ideally identifying what is most meaningful in life and understanding how one interacts in the world. This empowers individuals to create a healthy and proactive life.
